Good God, after watching that video I see why they're called cramps cause that's what they gave me. Can you get me some prescription Immodium? That hurt to the bowels.

Brussel Sprouts are better, saute them in butter with a little lemon pepper sprinkled over them. Link this to the recipe thread...

Well Cruds, I've been playing in town for about ten years and one thing i've noticed is that things can change really fast here. I played down on Broadway for several years and I've seen some really unbelievable musicians come and go. Pound for pound there are better musicians in this town than anywhere I've ever been. I couldn't even really name an "all rock" venue here. Trust me, I love almost every kind of music but I've yet to come across to many really good rock bands. I've seen a couple but I couldn't even begin to tell you their names. Most of the talent I see are playing more country than anything else or at least playing in a country bar, not neccessarily playing country music.

Really, I couldn't agree more... I feel like I'm back in high school arguing over who's better Metallica or AC/DC.... and on and on and on. We all have different opinions and none of them are really to far off..

As for good local music... I'm always up for that. What do you recommend? I love any excuse to get out drink some beer and listen to live music. I'll take almost any kind of live music over Rap, Hip Hop, and specially dance clubs.. Barf! Do you play out anywhere? What's the scoop...

We play out locally at all the places up on the Rock Block (The End, Exit In) as well as The Springwater, The Gibson, 12 and Porter, The Muse, The Pond, Rutledge, Mercy Lounge and a few of others that do Rock pretty regularly. If you hit Springwater or The End on any weekend you'll get a loud dose of local Nashville Rock n Roll. We are taking Aug and Sep off - saving it up for Oct. which is our big month where we will play a bunch of big Halloween shows here and in Atlanta.. You can hear some tunes on the links in my sig or check out a recent solo tune I did which I recently posted in another thread: http://jeanoroid.com/fried-chicken.mp3

Local bands I'd recommend are Hillbilly Casino, Falls City Angels, Cretin Grims, Legendary Shack Shakers. For traditional metal, the best locals I've seen is Disarray.. A pair of upcoming can't miss shows are The Reverend Horton Heat, Hank 3 and Nashville PĆ¼ssy @ The Mercy in Nov. and just prior to that Unknown Hinson is playing the same venue. Good stuff..

Speaking of Nashville acts, does anyone know if any of the guys from Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies are playing around town?

I see that the singer has a new solo release, but I'm wondering about the other guys...

Really?? I would be interested in seeing a comparison of album sales between the two... I would bet Metallica has sold more. I don't really give a crap but I bet they have.

If it was internationally, The Ramones would have sold more, just domestic sales and probably Metallica...

Metallica was pretty big world wide... I'd say they would've sold more all together (probably not even close)... No offense, but who listen's the Ramones?? Punk Rockers maybe... I've been listening to them on their web site and to say that the Ramone guy isn't a hack on the guitar and Hammett is... I don't think so... We need an Old fashion head cutting contest. That guy is sloppy.
