    I have a bud who suffered a devastating stroke five years ago. Congenital defect. No high BP or plaque etc. It was so bad that it destroyed a third of his brain. They had to excise the damaged areas. He has to wear the lid of his skull sewn inside his belly for 4 months while the swelling etc corrected itself.
    Considering the amount of damage incurred its amazing he's still alive and able to walk with a cane.
    I know he suffers in ways we can't conceive of. What a **** deal life hands some folks.
