RGIII to the Titans?

    Very very similar game to mariota. I personally think he had the better college career. Cassell is as good as gone. Lafleur coached him in Washington. Would be an instant upgrade at backup QB position behind mariota. If mariota goes down the offense wouldn't skip a beat. Plus RGIII does have a chip on his shoulder. What do you guys think?

    I actually think they have different styles. While he's not a terrible backup, we can do better. Kick Matt Cassel to the curb, but I'd still prefer to bring in more of a veteran experience that Mariota can learn from in the film room.

    No thanks to RG3. I can't see him being a good locker room guy as a backup. He will want the attention (there will be a media circus at 1st). He is a me 1st guy and not a team 1st guy.

    That "chip" he has on his shoulder will cause him to be disgruntled if he isn't playing.

    Plus, he is as injury prone as they come.

    I'd prefer a vet that embraces the role and has good advice for MM in the film room and on the sidelines. (And someone that could actually win a couple games if needed)
