SUMMARY: The Tennessee Titans' remarkable season ended with a 40-23 loss to the AFC East champion New England Patriots. The Patriots advance into the playoffs, while the Titans look forward to their continuance in rebuilding a championship team. "I can’t say enough about what this club has done," said coach Jeff Fisher. "With this run with eight wins in the last 11 attempts, six out of the last seven, I am disappointed that we couldn’t finish up on a winning note. But, I am very, very optimistic about the future of this football team."
