Ravens release TE Todd Heap

He can't be a go to guy if he can't get seperation...see Eric Moulds. However it would continue the blast from the past route we are going so hell, let's sign him. lol

 

Can't help but think of all those wasted draft picks on TE when guys like Heap and Zach Miller are available....

 

I think adding McGahee would be not a realistic possibility this year. I think they like Ringer, and they drafted Harper this year. Not to mention CJ will be getting 80+ percent of the carries, not enough room in the inn.

Although I do think he would help us, just not a real possibility, IMO.

 

I agree that I don't think McGahee will land here. I'd like having him on the roster though. I think Ringer is just roster filler and a replacement should be found depending on how Harper pans out.

Wouldn't mind having CJ, McGahee, Harper as our runningback trio. If somebody goes down we'd still have capable backs to carry the workload.

I would love to sign Heap, Mason also. Derrick Mason is the best little guy deep.

More important than them is us looking for an interior O-Lineman.

Not many teams are going to be interested in a 37 year old receiver with one more season left in the league.
