Let me caveat this by saying, I like listening to the PFF podcast and think they have some good insight. That said, they're completely blind to the fact that the run game still matters. They've conflated running backs not usually being worth being paid, with the running game not mattering. This is just a wrong take and is proven by the teams in the playoffs last year - TEN, SF, and BAL were all tops in the league in rushing yards per game and efficiency. Unless you have a Pat Mahomes, the running game still matters. And last I checked, 31 of 32 teams don't have a Mahomes. We invested in pounding the rock and bombing it deep to the guys we already have. We got a young, good corner to replace an aging vet, and a better compliment to Henry in the run game. It was a solid draft. Not an A+, but a solid B.
