No way I'd pass up on Brady/Johnson. Drafting WRs with your first two picks? That's not a smart move.

There were no solid RBs available after my first two picks. So even with your strategy, you would've ended up weak at RB and a much weaker QB than Brady. If I had to re-do the draft I wouldn't have changed any of my picks.

I guarantee Brady finishes top 3 for QBs, assuming he stays healthy.

You just have to know what 'secondary' RBs are gonna step up and/or make the jump to the next level of RB. But I agree in a 12 team league it isn't a safe way to draft. And I don't mind picking up better WRs and RBs and scooping a QB up later. Each draft is different and a lot depends on what is happening on the board and the point system.

Was LeSean McCoy on the board with your first two picks?

Nope... and if he was, I wouldn't have taken him.

I think it's okay to be weak at one position like RB as long as you get decent ones (who could end up doing very well) later down the draft. I think I'll be fine with Green-Ellis and Hightower as my main two, seeing as the rest of my team is completely stacked.

You're a little weak at RB, obviously as you stated. You're set at QB and WR, as well as TE.

Your RBs are horrible (no offense), I was scarred of drafting both Hightower and BenJarvus... here's why:

Hightower - Yes he's been dominating in preseason, but he's on the Redskins. They're OL is horrible, and they also have no passing attack. He's also battling with 3 different RBs for that starting spot. Yes, he's the favorite for the #1 spot, but it's likely he'll split his carries with Helu and Torrain. Shannahan has also loved Torrain, even in Denver. All Redskins fans are raving over Helu. I'm just not sure if Hightower will get enough work-load to be a #1 starting RB. Although, he could have a breakout year and get a ton of carries. So it's a toss up.

BenJarvus - For one, it's the Patriots and we know they're going to pass. BenJarvus is the #1, but Danny Woodhead could steal that spot. Also the Pats just drafted two RBs in Vereen and Ridley so they could also steal time. It would not surprise me if BenJarvus is the #2 or #3 RB by the end of the year.

I would be looking long and hard at the FA RBs in your league. Is Bernard Scott or Donald Brown in your league?

    Me too.

I prefer to be 6th or 7th. You have a chance at a running back if someone takes a QB way early and if all the top backs are gone you have your choice at the best player at WR and QB. You can also get a better feel for who will be there with your next pick since they're so close together.

Exactly, 6/7 is the best. Normally can get a Top tier RB and a Top tier QB.

Week-11 may be tough with Manning sitting and Freeman facing Green Bay. But your team looks solid, should be competitive.

I also just dropped Early Doucet for Ben Tate... Arian is having some hamstring issues, so Tate could be their #1 back if he gets hurt. I've heard rumblings that Arian might not play Week 1 to rest the Hamstring.

Although Tate is the #3 RB behind Ward, but I'm guessing they'll give Tate a shot.

Last pick is awesome... you can make a better team instead of getting that one big name superstar
