Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky[IMG][IMG] It's a dangerous to be overly critical of a win.

But it seems like it took as much today for Indianapolis to topple Houston as it did for the Colts to earn wins against New England and Pittsburgh in the two weeks before.

Yes, it a division game against a familiar opponent and the Texans should have won the first matchup back in early October. Yes, the Colts did well to settle down (CBS counted six drops in the first half) and play more efficiently in the second half.

Still, it should be easier at home against the Texans, whose defense just doesn't have enough to match up against the quality skill players like of the Colts. The ending was predictable: Melvin Bullitt intercepted Sage Rosenfels with under a minute left to seal the result.

This version of the Colts doesn't score well in style points.

And it doesn't matter, because they now stand at 6-4, two games over .500 for the first time this season and very much in the mix for a Wild Card berth in the AFC.
