Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky The Colts got an impressive fourth down conversion that helped set up a last-second, game-winning 51-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri in San Diego, continuing their resurgence and improving to 7-4.

They've got what looks to be a winnable four-pack before a season finale at home against Tennessee - at Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, at Jacksonville - but they've got a new issue that was an old issue.

Center Jeff Saturday suffered a calf injury in the second quarter and did not return, thrusting rookie Jamey Richard back into the middle of things for the Colts. Indy made it work without Saturday.

But Indianapolis struggled in the first two games of the season while waiting on Saturday to return from a preseason knee injury and there were times the Chargers blew up the middle of the Colts line without Saturday.

If he's to miss another stretch of time, things could become much more difficult for the Colts again.

I was going to lose my mind if they awarded that 1st down to the Colts. That was a code blue that never was. They called that a 1st down and it got a <2:00 booth review. Chargers handled that whole thing big time stupid and deserved to get beat. Chargers are better than their record though and can still make the playoffs should they manage to take the afc west. I actually think it will happen and it will outrage wild card worthy teams.
