Rant Thread

So our bonus checks came in at work today. After seeing everybody walk out of the office with checks of more than 300 dollars, I walked in expecting similar. I got $15.74. But at least I got a $.30 raise.

 

This girl I was hanging out with last night was beautiful and funny. She ended up going home with a homosexual photographer, FML.

I just started a job where I work for a month straight, 10 and a 1/2 hour days with 2 and a 1/2 total commute. Long days. I thought lots of over time with x amount for pay so I was really up for it. Well, it turns out that not only am I getting no overtime for it they dropped my pay by $1.30 saying some B.S excuse like "Oh the wage we talked about was actually including your vacation pay." I've never heard of that crap before.

 

I'm really not one to take time to complain about something in a post but I gotta say I got something to rant about. Last night at work I was told by numerous people that a trade was made and the Titans gave up a second round pick and Lendale for Boldin. The deal was almost complete. I actually thought for about 2 hours that Boldin was now a Titan. When I finally got a chance to get on the internet on my phone I couldn't find squat about it I had serious doubts and well none of it was true. Damn rumors!

I don't think you quite get the purpose of this thread.

 

the guy I've been seeing on and off bought me a present for his "return". (he is living out of the states at the moment) It was a "chicks guide to football." It explains WHY THEY CALL IT A PIGSKIN. If this is some joke he is not funny. The man doesn't even know that a NB is a RB! He does not share my hatred of all things del rio (which alone explains that he does not properly understand the sport of football) and he has the audacity to buy me a "CHIX GUIDE TO FOOTBALL!" This is what I get for dating a man who looks like Slater. He obviously has spent all his intelligence on other persuits than understanding women... specifically me. If he honestly thought that book was going to get him laid he has another thing comming. If he wanted to impress me with a football purchase he could have gotten me a wool donovan jersey. I would have married him and had his children for that. And to top things off I had found this really cool antique Jack Daniels money clip. (he collects jack daniels) I spent half a paycheck on it and now what am I supposed to do with it? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
