Watson had better numbers but he only played 7 games. That’s not even half a seasons worth. I can show you an 8 game stretch last year when Mariota was better than that. Same goes for Jimmy and Goff.

brees, brady, Rodgers, big ben, ryan, Stafford and Wilson are all better than mm8 without debate, imo. that's 7 guys, so at best he's the 8th best. But, you can make arguments for newton, goff, wentz, smith, rivers, carr, cousins, jimmy g and luck. That's 9 guys that you can actually make an argument for mm8. So at the absolute worst he'd be at 17th, but I put him at about 13th at the moment. But, I'm looking for him to have a pro bowl year and be ranked in the top 5 qbs in qbr this season, over 3500 yards and over 25 tds.

 

My 2nd round draft pick 'want' will be changing alot more than likely.

But my 1st round is stuck on either Hubbard or Okoronkwo

Jefferson is a head case

 

To expand on this: Mariota last year had an 8 game stretch (weeks 5-12) where he had 21 TD to 3 INT’s and a passer rating averaging 120.6 over those 8 games.

 

Until I pick a want that doesn't win DROY. (Bosa, Lattimore) .... I'll stick with the glasses. Worked so far

 

I think the crux of whether hes nudging top 10 or sitting in the mid to late teens is where you sit on judging him against the bolded guys who have a smaller sample size and in many cases, have had considerable success due to good coaching.
