    Nah it has happened a handful of times. The 2014 Eagles started 9-3 and missed it at 10-6. The 2012 Bears were 7-1 and missed it.

    We might be the first to start 7-3 and lose out though.

    That may be true losing out.

    The other piece is not just missing out after starting 7-3, but the division lead was among the biggest ever blown.
