I think the argument is less about Marcus’ sake and more about fit. If we are married to this archaic dumb eff offense for the foreseeable future, Marcus isn’t the guy to run it. It doesn’t fit his strengths, which is a great reason why it should never have been signed off on in the first place.

Go get some enormous qb with a cannon arm that can throw to the two receivers deep on the sideline if that’s all we’re gonna run.
