first of all, is it definitely going to to be blacked out, and second of all, if it is blacked out, does that mean it won't even be seen through NFL ticket?

It would only matter if you live in the Greater Jacksonville Statistical Area.

buy extra tickets they didn't even plan to use?

sorry.. Jag fans take the cake for stupidity...
not to mention they can't even drag their friends to the game... :ha:

Does anyone ever go to the movies alone and buy two tickets just so they can support the producer?

especially : If a few hundred tickets remained as the deadline approached, Weaver (owner) had the option of helping the team lift the blackout by purchasing the tickets himself.

I guess it makes us smarter because we happen to live in an area that supports their team and sells out every game. If any of us lived in Jacksonville we would automatically be stupid fans... All these fans are doing is trying to support their team and do you really believe a huge number of Jags fans are going to buy extra tickets to not use because they are concerned about the blackout? Maybe a few rich guys who figure the cost of a ticket is about the same as a candy bar for the rest of us but I doubt average joe fan in Jacksonville is much different than all of us and isn't willing to spend money on tickets they won't use.

Buying an extra ticket to help aid the cause is stupid.

Sox, I didn't report it man. I just read it. It says these Jag fans are buying extra tickets they won't even be using... that's stupid. Period. I don't care where you live. Tennessee tickets sell out in minutes due to the shortage of single game tix that is created by psl sales. PSL is a foreign concept to Jacksonville. No one has to buy one for season tickets because if it was required it would kill what little demand for tickets there is. We have to pay good money for the right to purchase tickets in the first place... so from a Jacksonville perspective we are the stupid ones.

That's the difference between fans near the Nashville area and fans near Jacksonville.

What exactly does lifting a blackout achieve? Showing the game would only reward those jag 'fans' who don't go by putting it on TV for them.
