    ^lol

    They both are pretty even.

360's online community is about 10x's better than PSN - BUT psn is free. For a reason. But free. That's one reason I bought a PS3.

360 has the better game lineup, but ps3 has blu-ray if you care about a slightly better DVD player.

360 has easier media functions to set up (software wise), but Ps3 can go wireless right out of the box. If you want wireless with a 360, it gets stupid expensive.

    360 doesn't have a browser yet, ps3 does.

360's controller is better by far, but this isn't very important if you get used to the ps3's.

More people have 360s so its a lot easier to play online with friends.

360 will tear up on you if you play even casually. But if you play casually, waiting 2 weeks for a new system shouldn't be too bad.

If you're torn, go play both of them for yourself. I was all about 360, then was finally convinced to get a PS3, but then never played it as it collected dust under my 360. So I sold it. But for me, it's easy - 360 is a lot better. But understand - I think Blu-Ray is a waste of money, soo...I buy a console to play games on. I've got a dvd player.

It's all about personal preference, so find someone that owns each and figure out which you like more.

urr you play online against others. One is for free. One isn't.

    That's the only difference.

    Bias aside, it's wrong.

There's nothing difficult about connecting your PS3 to other computers or playing media files.

Big, fat and clunky? And those white and black buttons are just stupid.

It's as simple as this, you want variety, the PS3 has more variety in games and is the cheapest Blu-ray system out.

The future is a lot brighter on announced future titles on the PS3 as well.

I believe the xbox network is a little faster, more reliable... wouldn't you say? That's what I've been told.

PSN isn't some unstable online experience. It's free, it's fine. 360 just has more (things I really have no interest in personally) that you have to pay for. The choice for me is simple.

The exclusivity of titles is gonna be virtually gone soon, so this talk that 360 has a superior stable currently and down the line is laughable to me. Both systems will have some showcase 1st party/exclusive titles, but it doesn't sound like you have any interest in Gears or Halo games. It's basically a wash to me.

Blu-Ray is nice if you have the right media center around it (i.e. HD TV). If you don't have one and don't plan on buying one anytime soon, a Blu-Ray player won't matter much.

I personally think that PS3 is the better system because of the enhancing potential as a media center. You won't make a bad decision with a 360 though.

I'd just about go with Blu-Ray. Excited Iron Man is coming out soon.

360 has more players online. That alone makes it worth the price for me. FAR LESS lag. PSN users are constantly b#ching about lag, and if you play 360 online then ps3 online - you'll notice how one feels like a ghost town. Like you're basically playing the computer.
Then we can get in to how effing long it takes to download one of their stupid weekly updates. Then how long it takes to download a demo??

It's like using 56k, and no one can explain why it's so slow.

The cost is warranted IMO. But I care more about multiplayer than campaign.

Pretty much, at least with new franchises/games.

Though some developers, like Insomniac and the guys doing Heavy Rain will stay PS3 exclusive even though they are not owned by Sony, and same will go for some 360 franchises.
