    i have basic cable. ive had an HDTV for 5 years and havent watched 1 HD program. im to cheap to pay extra for HD boxes. lol im awesome.

    Jesse, I'm not sure what cable provider you have and I really don't think it matters because almost all cable providers have to provide the CBS, NBC and ABC HD channels unblocked. The providers don't have to make you aware of it but i know it works every time I tried it.

    The trick is to bypass your cable box and go straight to your HDTV with the RF cable. The channels are digital so the numbers will be like 2.1, 2.2 for ABC. 4.1, 4.2 for NBC and such. You will lose your tv guide thingy that operates thru the box but who needs it to watch NFL in HD!!!
