There are a ton of coaches on the hot seat heading into this season. Who will be fired? Who will be the first to go?

    Jason Garrett - fired
    Dennis Allen - fired
    Joe Philbin - fired
    Rex Ryan - fired

Jason Garrett will, undoubtedly, be the first out. Remember Wade Phillips in 2010? It'll be like that. Midseason goner.

Surely there will be more to get sh*t canned, but those four are dead men walking. Other hot seat coaches include Marvin Lewis, Jeff Fisher, Mike Tomlin, and Mike Smith.

You never know with the Jags and Browns, but I think both coaches are safe. Another wild card would be Ron Rivera. I think that team is close to going from first to worst.

    Am I forgetting about someone?

Is this a JCB quality thread?

Man, the Panthers were a quick rise and fall team. They'll be good this year, but not winning that division. Who does Newton even have to throw to?

I agree with the first three. Especially Garrett. I think Ryan makes it. Mettine will survive in Cleveland. It would be career suicide for the gm to fire another coach after one yeqr.

One that you may nit think of that couls is doug marrone in Buffalo. New ownership will come in and there is a good chance they will want their own staff.

As crazy as it may seem, I think Tom Coughlin will get replaced after this season. I gotba feeling the Giants are going to be really bad this upcoming season.

Completely forgot to mention him on the coaches I think will survive.

He's won two Super Bowls in the last six years. They'd be stupid to fire him even if they go 6-10. But that's NY for ya.

Either way, he's close to retirement anyways. Giants will be better this year, but I don't see them making the playoffs.

I don't even think they'll be good this year. I'm thinking back to 6-10 or 7-9. 8-8 at best.

The only way Rex makes it back another year would be by making the playoffs. That seems highly unlikely to me.

Buffalo is a team similar to us in many ways IMO. They have loads of talent and it's going to come down to EJ Manuel. Just like it'll come down to Locker for us.

I think they can compete for the 6th seed in the AFC.

I don't see them being better this year to be honest.

With him being too close to retirement is the reason why I think they will clean house and move on without him next year.

Baffles me to the fullest on why they didn't address the WR position.

Well they did, in the 1st round, taking Benjamin. But they need more experience.

I mean, it may not be THAT bad of a receiving corps IF Benjamin comes along quickly and Cotchery/Avant stay healthy. And they do have Olsen.

But their defense and OL also got worse.

Marvin Lewis will be gone. Anything but a playoff win and he is gone.
