This isn't the NBA, coaches don't get fired after a year or 2 very often. He had a good season last year which I think keeps him safe this season unless we are a true disaster, like 2 wins or less.

Gruden isn't coaching any NFL team. I don't know why people keep bringing up his name. It's been 10 years.

If Mariota gets injured, we could go 0-16 and he isnt getting fired. If nobody is injured, there would have to be a serious lockerroom breakdown for them to fire him after this season, even with a 3-13 record, etc. Anything lower than 9-7 puts him on notice going into next season, and anything out of the playoffs next year gets him canned. With that said, we goin playoffs fellas this year, Its going down

I think the 3 main points to look at are...no major injuries - especially to Mariota, no playoffs, and our record in the division. If we have no major injuries and again have a losing record in our division and THIS keeps us out of the playoffs - especially if we go backwards record-wise, it's time to move on.

The one caveat to that is how we are playing and if our lack of depth at several positions helps us lose a game or two....because then JRob would be at least partly to blame unless our ST play far outweighs any negatives those roster spots could cause on offense or defense.

For JRob and Amy, I think it comes down to playoffs, our division record, and how the team plays overall. Come out flat like in our second Jags game to miss the playoffs and give us a losing division record and I could see them parting ways.

Unfortunately, if we do what we did last year, winning record but no playoffs due to poor division play, he's safe from Amy. I don't see her cutting a 'winning' coach. Someone might remind her, we are not here for regular season winning records, we are here to win a SUPER BOWL!!!

Maybe Mularkey should take a page out of Andy Reids game tonight. He called one helluva game.

We can only wish Mularkey will hopefully one day be as good as Andy Reid.
