it was a flea flicker. he did nothing to get those yards other than just run straight while the defense fell for the trick play

Sharpe > Taylor. Taylor is a bust. He's already over hyped. There is a reason he went to western kentucky

There's no gimmies and you still gotta make the play.

I've seen players like Troy Williamson, Ted Ginn and Titans legend Justin Hunter wide open on busted coverage and drop the ball.

He did his job, can't blame him cause the defense didn't do theirs.

I'm confused, how he is overhyped?

Only hype I've heard about him is he had a very good OTA. Nobody in the media is saying he's a fantasy steal. Nobody is saying he's outperforming every other WR on the roster. He's not listed as #1 on the depth chart right out of OTAs. I don't even think he's even listed at #3. None of the other receivers have been traded for a backup lineman.

He is currently what he was brought in to be, a depth guy competing for the slot position.

When I start seeing him get the treatment Tajae got last year, then I'll say he is overhyped.

Actually if anything he's underhyped, based on his performance a lot of analysts are surprised he was drafted so late not much buzz outside of fans who know he can make plays. His measurables are much better than sharpes were, especially his wingspan and catch radius. It's also promising he started putting on weight so soon.

also where he's from has nothing to do with it.
    Brandon marshall (central florida)
    Marques Colston (Hofstra)
    Greg Jennings (western michigan)
    Shannon Sharpe (savannah state)
    Donald Driver (alcorn state)
    Antonio Gates (kent state)
    Rod smith (missouri Southern)
    Torry Holt (NC state)
    Isaac bruce (mephis)
    Randy Moss (marshall)
    TO (tenn. chatt.)
    Jerry Rice (miss valley st.)
