Carter has fewer career sacks than Landry had in 1 year. I think Carter was vastly over rated. I think we are at the point where quality trumps quantity.

Been saying for a while, JR has done such a good job that this rosterwas to the point where it didn't need a bunch of alright guys. We need a few playmakers. JR knew this too of course and went out and got his guys.

Posted it this afternoon, but the offense with a new legit coaching staff didn't need any help, they have top shelf playmakers already. The defense needed a couple ballers. JR got two guys he feels will fill that void. This roster is in excellent shape.

I would have been fine watching him go to another team and keeping the third. I like his tape, but there haven’t been a lot of guys with his size and athletic profile who have been successful.

Plus there will be undrafted free agents to look at.

What do you mean by this? Just off the top of my head, Khalil Mack, Von Miller, Orakpo, and Vic Beasley are roughly the same size. 6'2 is on the smaller side, but he's got long arms, and I'm not seeing any athletic limitations.

I dunno. Clearly jrob likes to target “his guys” and go get them. It’s worked more often than not so far.

Patriots must have a leak in their personnel department or something. Every pick is supposedly jrob sniping them.
