Pick #22 of the 2018 NFL Draft: ILB Rashaan Evans, Alabama

Love it.

 

The QB and leader we needed for the defense. Has rush ability and is instinctive as hell.

Great great pick. I was dreading this first round, but jrob killed it.

They just said on ESPN that his mom is team psychologist for several teams, including Alabama. That is interesting.

 

I think JRob knew he had to get in front of the Pats for this pick. Thought it could be for Landry but I love the Evans pick. When you talk philosophy...Vrabel consistently said multiple front and versatile guys. Well Evans is certainly versatile but will line up immediately at ILB. Love it!!!!

 

My number 2 option behind Landry if we weren't trading down. Did not give up much to trade up either. Honestly, there is a very good shot that Hubbard, Key, and Sweat are all available when we pick again tomorrow.

 

Bad pick, especially with the trade. How many alabama defensive players don't end up overrated because they play around more other talented guys then most? Not many.

 

One of the three will likely be there. And while I would not have been pleased with any of those guys at 25, in the second, yes please.
