Re-watched 7 games from this guy after we drafted him. Home run pick. Top 20 talent in this draft for sure. Seems like a great fit as well. Plays fast and aggressive. He's multiple. Seems coachable.

    GREAT pick.

Amazing how things differ from person to person. The more I watch the less I like. I'll post a full breakdown sometime this week of he and Landry.

?? Teams work out tons of players. Nothing new. Hell, they could have decided that they didn't like him during or after the workout.

Also the "who would you have taken instead?" responses are weaksauce.

We have this guy. Criticizing the guy we actually have is valid- more so than some hypothetical "well, let me now analyze 200 other guys and tell you what I WOULD have done".

    Isn't hating to note concerns.

Guy seems to only be a blitz specialist- the easiest job one could have playing in Alabama.

Hoping he can do more than just that. But definitely not going to be shocked if he can't.

This reply is a cop out. We all know you have guys in mind you'd like to see the Titans draft. Based on who was on the board at 22, who would you have taken instead of Evans. Then a few years down the road, you can cite who'd you'd have picked and whether or not JR made a bad pick.

But instead, you say it's "weaksauce" to backup your criticism so that years down the line, you can pick anyone drafter after 22 and claim you'd have preferred to pick that player.

I'm happy with the pick. This team really needed some talented youth at ILB and OLB. The new HC likely had guys he wanted and that should be his specialty positions to develop, and the GM hooked them up because they're on the same page. Hope it works out, because that's how successful franchises are run.
