Do you have one you use for threads you do approve of?

 

Because all of my threads should have the approval stamp

 

I think you're right. People, throughout history, are always the same. Petulant, self-absorbed children.

Now, the internet gives them fuel, with all of the ignorant political/conspiracy stuff.. plus the medium to do their dirty work (Facebook)


And all of a sudden.... morons on parade.

Every dip$%^& gets to be a celebrity in their own mind.

 

You misunderstand what I was saying. Journalists are taught to write DOWN to readers... the readers are the uneducated. Not that journalists aren't taught to write well. The masses are the uneducated ones, generally speaking.

What you said isn't wrong... but people who do write for a living sometimes have to talk down to the masses. Doesn't really include non-educated "journalists". I use that term loosely.

This doesn't work for long IMO, unless youre a fan of being told everything.

Personally when Im writing these Grade-A threads of mine, I write the same way Id speak to you guys in person.

 

Yeah I get what you are saying ... I don't think that the journalists are dumb. It was just the part were you said something like "20 years ago they were told to write on and 8th grade level ... who knows what now"

I was just saying, that I don't think the general population has regressed ... we just get to see more of it lol
