It's hard to be clutch without help. You can see from this season how much help he has had the last couple of years.

Manning turns 36 in February. That and coming off a career threatening injury. It would be retarded as retarded can get for the Colts to not take Luck if they get the chance. They have to do it no matter what Peyton thinks. At 36 you are on the down slope of your career even without the neck problem and some hall of fame QBs were already done at that age. Jim Kelly and Troy Aikmen retired at that age.

That is not an issue here. Manning's feelings would not be an issue. They would have to do it.

Couldn't have said it any better.

So here's hoping Locker vs Luck will be more competitive than [Titans QB] vs Manning.

    Woah! 8 - 8 was Fisher's thing. I reckon 7 - 9 is more Munch's style.

As much as management would love to keep both Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck, maybe have Manning tutor Luck through one season, it's not practical or financially viable, says Bob Kravitz of the Star. “You think the Colts will pay Manning that $28 million roster bonus so he can work with Luck for a year? Either they'll pay him and trade him, or they'll choose not to pay the bonus and watch him walk in free agency -- likely the latter.”
