    Armani Toomer

Hes a free agent in the 09' offseason, and I would say he is the most realistic best fit for the Tennessee Titans in a trade/free agency. Hes 34 years old, 6'3, and a nice big target for whomever we put behind center. And in my opinion he hasn't shown signs of declining just yet. The dudes flat out consistent:

    Last 8 Seasons:

    2000 16 G 78 Rec 1100 yards 7 TD
    2001 16 G 72 Rec 1100 yards 5 TD
    2002 16 G 82 Rec 1300 yards 8 TD
    2003 16 G 63 Rec 1100 yards 5 TD
    2004 15 G 51 Rec 800 yards 0 TD
    2005 16 G 60 Rec 700 yards 7 TD
    2006 8 G 32 Rec (64 Pace) 400 yards (800 pace) 3 TD (6 pace)
    2007 16 G 59 Rec 800 yards 3 TD
    2009 4 G 17 (68 pace) Rec 200 (800 pace) yards 1 TD (4 pace)

Hes stayed at a steady pace his hole career, and could be just what we need to push us over the top from great team, to contender.

Not to mention, he and Kerry Collins have a HUGE history. 28 Touchdowns between the two, a Giant Record before Plaxico and Eli Manning broke it with 31.

We likely won't acquire anyone in trade this year, lets face it, they just don't happen in the NFL. He is a free agent this offseason, classy guy, the Giants probably won't be able to/afford to keep him.

I think a player like Toomer would be a perfect fit in Tennessee. A Veteran receiver to help along Young if Kerry isn't there. A guy who knows how to get open and make the crucial 3rd down catches.

A lot of you are going to disagree and stress the fact that they're are guys like Roy Williams, TJ Houshmanzedah out there. But lets face the facts, those guys aren't coming to Wide Receiver hell for the money we're going to offer. They're going to be overpaid somewhere else with a QB that has thrown 5 touchdowns in his career before.

Toomer is a guy thats already made a name for himself, and may just be looking to padden his stats and get back to the ship once more before he calls it quits.

Moulds was more of a benefit to this team then people think. And catching 32 passes on this offense isn't exactly easy.

By judging that photo the guy has poor depth perception.

    nah

there's obviously something more interesting above the two of them that they're fixated on. catching/defending the ball is secondary.

Lets not forget that Kerry Collins threw to him a lot when they played together, the chemistry is there

    Toomer = Moulds = Pickens = Thigpen

    I'd rather get Mason back

How do you figure? Mason is just as old.

Toomer has only missed a handful of games.
