Pats wanted to resign Butler

They probably offered him what he is worth and did not count on us badly over paying him.

 

Butler was great y'day. It's amazing how dominant he's been in some games this year, and completely lost in others.

 

Butler can be OK if he just sticks to what he is supposed to do. He tries using his "instincts" a lot and usually makes the wrong choice when doing so.

I remember a few TD's against him he was actually in really good position but the balls just ended up in the receivers hands anyway. That happens... But a lot of the time he's just trying to make a play and guessing wrong. He breaks inside because he thinks the WR is and the WR runs right by him instead etc... He needs to stick to the fundamentals and stop trying to be a hero every play and he might be decent.

 

Nope. Butler played good once that means if you doubt him you just a fake fan hater
