    I still do not get why people are getting upset because we are not signing guys who averages 200 yards a season at WR.

    He hasn't amounted to anything, it is no big deal if we get him or not.

    Well, I had hopes for Washington and still do, but when you consider how many games he's played (12 in the last 2 years), it's nothing worth really scrambling for. The Pats were smart, and basically structured the contract like they did Stallworth's, so that it can be a one-year deal if need be, and at a good rate.

    I won't be sorry if we don't get any of the known FAs right now. Some surprise cuts later, I can see. I think it'll be nice to have money left when everyone is dry. There's always that period where people are cut over the summer and teams want to make moves to get them, but can't. We're sitting at second most money right now, which is plus two spots from when FA started. I'm cool with that. Cut MR some slack, people.
