Something that really worries me is how are we going to get a good OC and/or DC in the off season when MM will only have one year left on his contract.

I think this hurts our chances of getting someone really good. I think Munch has to be fired for us to advance in the coaching category. The other scenario is that he gets an extension...

I disagree with the idea that the offense can only be effective if it exploits what the defense gives them and that you have to adapt a new offense for every opponent. You have to have your bread and butter that you do well. I think with your offensive alignments you can position your offensive personnel in such a manner that you dictate to the defense what they are going to do. Not let the defense dictate to you.

If the players don't execute then it is on the players, but if lack of execution is a repeated and continual problem then it is on the coaches.

The stagnation of our offense on opening drives tells me that we just don't have a good gameplan.

I'm really hoping that we have a game like we did against the Ravens last yr. Although it was early in the season we had just come off a horrible road loss and everyone counted us out and we put a whipping on the RatBirds. Maybe same thing happens this weekend.

    agree too a point.

If you have a good OL and a good powerback there is nothing the D can do except eat 4-5 yard carries. Until they sell out too stop it, then its McMVP, I mean Locker, time.

Didnt think of it that way. I honestly didnt feel like either of our coordinators would be here next year but I guess its possible stupid old Bud and even Munch may have tried to do "one more year". Its just hard for me to fathom that they would. On the bright side, we DO need a new OC now. I just hope we get a good one.....

My fear was that no "good" coordinators would want to come to a franchise thats been a mess the past few years unless it was their only option.

JG better be next.... we should get together and kick down Buds door and lynch him if not (hes going to outlive all of us anyways)

Agreed and thats why I feel Palmer got nailed for it.

Wondered the same thing and its a real issue. Will have to see what coordinators think of Munch.

    This too

I honestly think that Munch will be given another chance (ie contract extension) and 2 new coordinators. Which isn't a bad thing IMO, you can always fire him if things still aren't working out. They let Marvin Lewis in Cincy have another chance with new coordinators and it is working out pretty good for them so far.

Munch firing someone helps his case.

I feel he's back next year for sure now that he's axed someone.
