    Maybe I misread the article but wasn't Jones being extorted? If so, why is he done?

    He lied to Goodell about not knowing the shooter. Remember the Vegas shooting wasn't part of his original 12-month suspension.

    Right now his trade value is about NIL.

    SUMMARY: Pacman Jones paid Arvin Kenti Edwards, the man arrested in a Las Vegas strip club shooting that left a club employee paralyzed, $15,000 according to a police report. According to one of the go-beteens in the deal, Jones was told by Edwards that if he refused to pay, the accused shooter would "go after Jones, his mother and daughter." Jones picked Edwards in a police lineup Friday who was charged on three counts of attempted murder with a weapon and three counts of battery with substantial bodily harm, all felonies. He was not sought on extortion.
