What is wrong with this guy....I keep trying to lay off and pull for him to come around...but he is excused from practice due to flu like symptoms yet he feels good enough to go to a club? Why was his butt not in bed getting rest at that time of night??

If this is true then he should be some point he has to be held acountable as he cannot keep up this kind of moronic behavior. No one player is bigger than the team...and he obviously does not have the team in mind.

I have no problem with him being at the club as such (if he did indeed leave early). Firstly he didn't lie to skip work, he was sent to the docs to get treatment and told to go home. If he started feeling better later in the day there's no reason he shouldn't do what he otherwise would do on his timeoff.
Secondly as long as he didn't stay out all night I see no reason why he shouldn't be allowed at a club or anywhere else really.

Now if he did indeed spit on someone that's pretty bad manners and he should be punished, although I find it a bit weird to be charged with misdemeanor assault for spitting (If you have HIV does that make it assault with a deadly weapon?).

Still I'm not really bothered by it, considering the criminals other teams employ and that you see weekly in the NCAA or elsewhere in the world really, I don't see why our players should be held to a higher standard.
