Overrated and Underrated

Of course the ground can cause a fumble. A play isn't ruled dead just because a player is on the ground in the NFL. Someone has to tackle the ballcarrier.

And it was an interception because Drew never had possession of the ball and it never hit the ground. If he had caught it cleanly like he should have, he would have been down by contact. But he bobbled it, it bounced up, and Sanders did catch it...

Didn't he do that two or three times last season?

 

Obviously a player has to have been contacted before he is ruled down with possession. The picture posted showed Sanders in contact, I didn't realize Drew never made the catch. Yes, it would have been nice had he caught it cleanly "like he should have" but it appears Sanders had a lot to do with that not happening. Our secondary has seperated a lot of passes from receivers this year after a catch...it's called football.

 

Someone should really watch the whole thing before speculating.

Man was our O-line bad back then...

 

Bennet is a solid #3 WR... Givens should be better and B Jones is coming on strong. I have never forgiven Drew for dropping that "can of corn" in New England a couple years ago.... Still holding the grudge.

He makes great catch's and then misses the easiest ones. VY is a big play guy who needs big play guys around him and Drew has proven he isn't one of those guys...

 

now watch one of two things.

1. He will not come back after seeing this.

2. He will make some excuse about Drew making a good play and how the ball should have been thrown on target and he would have made the catch if it was.
