He wasn't found guilty of anything, and it was a one-time incident. Lewis also had the image of being one of, if not THE, best defensive player in the league. Jones doesn't have that; no one really knows who this cat is yet. Jones has been in the headlines far too long to think that he doesn't already have a negitive image. Sad but true. Fans everywhere are postively baffled at the stupidity of Jones and the negitive cloud that he can't seem to shake. How doest that reflect on the rest of the organization?

People were complaining about that long before Pacman was even a titan and we didn't have any legal issues.

You think this is gonna help Gun? Let's take a step back, and think with some logic.

I'd like to know any NFL player who turned down a team because of their image.

Money talks more then worrying about one player doing something in Las Vegas in off-season.

But how many other incidents has Lewis been in, before or since? How many has Jones been involved or at least near before this?

I NEVER argued a case of whether he was guilty or innocent of anything! When you're so consistantly in the negitive spotlight, what do you expect to happen? Never did I argue Jones morality, but I have constantly argued that this guy hasn't learned a thing! Many will claim that Jones shouldn't have this sorta spotlight on him, that it's a media bias or something. Is it his fault that he's constantly looked as a thug, or should we question that really, this guy keeps doing the same thing over and over. The point is a stigma will follow the ones who are constantly in question, not the ones who had one outside incident.

You all argue from the perspective from those who really want Jones on the team next year, because he's a great talent. Ask yourselves this; how many stones would you throw if this guy was a Raven, or a Colt, or any other team? Think about it.

It's going to come to a point where money will be involved. People don't want to watch a team bunch of lawless thugs (this is merely a perspective many WILL take if this continues).

Play the devil's advocate with me, and see where this thing COULD go if something isn't done.
