    How is the whole premise showing we've played bad teams so be cautious/level headed "dumb"?

    Because if one of those teams wins a few games all the sudden the teams we played are better and then the teams legit? So you’re saying games we don’t play decide if we’re good or not? Cmon man! It’s early in the season...most teams with more wins than others have a weak opponent w/l by virtue they all lost to the good team.

    I guess the bolded comments above kind of highlight the other.

    1 - Our wins have been close wins, so are somehow 'less valuable' or 'less convincing' wins.

    2 - Our opponents are 3-10, with 3 of the 10 losses due to us. But these are close losses remember! So on another day, our opponents could be 6-7, and we could be 0-3.

    What would we be saying then? That we suck against mid-road opposition, or that we've have 3 close losses so we are there or there abouts?

    That’s how college football rankings work. Teams are always hoping that whoever they lost to wins every other game to appear as a tougher opponent.

    Literally NO ONE is discrediting our wins. Calm down.


    Can't even shed light on some statistics without emotional fans losing their minds thinking it's some kind of attack.
