He will have a good combine, but he wont be at the Senior bowl because he is coming out early.

I've actually read Omar tries to stick in the pocket and not run, but he's got the ability. He's athletic and not at all slow. I think he just doesn't want to have the Vick label, to his credit.

yeah it would be nice if it was hidden "untapped" ability that he has yet to reveal t th world. it'd be great to see him come out n the presean and run for 100 yards

i thin his avg per rush is hovering around 3ypc

Nah, it's just more of the system Bowling Green has. Jacobs is a fantastic pocket QB, but I've seen him move around the pocket; it's grossly unfair to compare him to Leftwhich, because he can move. He's athletic, especially considering the position he's at. His accuracy is great, his arm strength better than Young's, and just seems to be a passer who will be a great NFL prospect.

The negatives? His competition, while not really poor, still isn't very good. The problem is in judging how well he would do at a better program, is he absolutely dismantled and destroyed any secondary he came across. In my humble opinion, this is a player who could have started for a team as good as OK, FSU, Miami, etc. This is a guy who I'd love to take with our 2nd pick, or trade down to get him in the first, have him sit for a whole year, and then start him in the 07-08 year. Jacobs could be special, he'll just need a year to ready himself.

FYI, I have tape of many of this guys games, so I've actually seen him play. I can't find many chinks in the armour so to speak. He's should be a legitamite prospect for the Titans to be looking at.

You're right but also consider that Washington has both Jason Campbell and that other guy already on roster so them taking a QB is unlikely. Also, Houston has David Carr, so while they still might take a QB, if they were to go that route, one of these other teams would pick up David Carr. And then there is the possibility that Baltimore sticks with Boller (I doubt it) or the Jets with Pennington (doubtful).

If Young comes out, there will almost certainly be three QB's taken in the first round with a few wildcards that could still move up. I see at least four teams that will definately be taking a QB, probably sooner rather than later. New Orleans, Arizona, Miami, and Detroit.

Deciding who will draft them is really an exercise in futility since the teams at the top don't really need a QB (besides NO). There will most likely be at least one huge trade at the top of the draft. Another reason I think that is likely is because bringing in a new coaching staff usually coinsides with drafting a "franchise" QB.

That's what I'm talking about :brow:

Who knows what he'll run at his pro day, but I've seen two 40 times for him that both said 4.59, which I can believe from what I saw.
