NFL spokesman Greg Aiello on Monday said the league plans to look into the latest incident involving Titans receiver Kenny Britt.
Britt was suspended for the season opener in 2012 for repeated violations of the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Police in New Jersey want to talk to Britt about an incident that resulted in a close friend being stabbed early Sunday morning, and a shooting that took place.
Britt dropped off a man police initially said was his brother at Jersey City Medical Center then was uncooperative with officers when asked what had happened, police said. Later, Britt was at the scene or had just left the scene when a gunshot was fired at an apartment building, according to police.
Aiello, Senior Vice President of Communications for the NFL, said the league will review the facts in the case.

Way to go britt!
Kenny is now going to cooperate to the police and a NFL spokeman said that the NFL will look into this latest incident involving Kenny Britt.
Why wouldn't he corporate from the beginning?
How naive are you?
Just a logical person.
That's a crazy high %. So surprising. I have an NFL bud, he was a 5th round pick... a % of the money goes to income tax and to their agent. But still, I know he's making around 500K, he is still pulling in 300K atleast. I would make that in like 6 years. Not to mention sponsorships and everything else a player can do.
Now, he's just a 5th round pick.. imagine Kenny, a 1st rounder. Probably makes triple that.
I guess that's what happens when you come from a poor back ground, you don't know how to handle it when you get it.
@jwyattsports: N.J. police captain on Kenny Britt: "At this point he is still not cooperating with police. So whatever statement he puts out is false."
