hey, in the third round i wouldn't hate the williams pick, even though he never really produced, but we need more than a guy with no position in the first.

    I wouldn't mind having Nicks.

And it would have been nice to have a playmaking WR cough (RB) cough this year to fill in for Johnson when he got hurt in the Ravens game.

Derrick Williams will be a play maker in the NFL.

It tells me that he's yet another workout warrior that builds his name leading up to the draft based on what he does in the weight room rather than what he did on the field.
    And draft 'experts' never learn...

Keep in mind: My favorite player in ALL college football plays for Georgia Tech right now. The guy seen in my avatar. Morgan Burnett. I know who Michael Johnson is... he just never made me think he was 1st round material. He's weak.

    Well...

Sometimes guys like that end up being really good players...my friend said the same thing about Justin Tuck. However, there is a lot more risk involved.

Johnson's lack of motor is certainly a concern, but if we are going to take a "project", I absolutely want them to be an O-Linemen or D-Linemen.

Munchak and Washburn are as good as any line coaches in the league and if we are going to take a guy with the physical skills to mould into a great player, I'd be more comfortable taking a Defensive linemen than a receiver, for instance.

I said it elsewhere. Johnson is almost the prototype Washburn D-Linemen. Long arms, great athleticism and explosion. He is not at a position of need because I liked what I say out of the two young guys last season, but he is certainly intriguing as a prospect.

    Well...

It's not JUST his lack of motor...but is inability to dominate. In a 9minute highlight reel, you can find maybe 4 plays where he's dominant. That's NOT good!

And I don't wanna take projects in rnd 1. In rnd 4...no problem! I'd rather draft a Sidbury in rnd 3-4 than Michael Johnson in rnd 1!
