    Btw...

For those of you who havent seen Michael Johnson (who Kiper and others have picked as our guy), here's a look. Keep in mind, I DONT want to take this guy with our 30th pick.

Johnson flashes his athleticism for about 4 plays in a 9min vid. For comparison purposes...check out Everett Brown's highlights! He mangles a lot of these guys...period!

The most complete DE/OLB might be...

I don't know why, but something about Michael Johnson makes me think "Erasmus James."

    Um....

The first part of the highlight reel he's sacking Oklahoma's QB...the Heisman winner...and Oklahoma was the #1 team at the time. So I don't think you can argue he's only good against bad OL's and QB's who hold the ball for 10mins.

    But you can try...

Orakpo is a monster. I worry about him and steroid use, but if Gholston hasn't been busted yet...who knows.

Everette Brown looks better than Michael Johnson, for sure. I hadn't seen much of Brown before, but Michael Johnson is on a team I follow pretty close in GT and I never noticed him much.

and what does that tell you...

Michael Johnson is supposed to be a first rnd pass rushing DE who is a freak athletically, plays on a team you follow and you never really noticed him? What does that tell you?!?!?!?!?

Brown is a monster. He is the best pass rusher in the draft...period. He has a rare trifecta of quickness/power/pass rush moves. The only negative about him is he doesn't read plays well. Not sure if that's part of his D or what, but Orakpo is the most complete DE in the draft.

And yes, Orakpo looks a bit 'puffed' up. I guess that is usually the result when you add like 50lbs of muscle to your frame in only a few years. Of course, all these guys will get tested at the combine so anyone using to boost for the combine/draft will get caught.

Unfortunately, I don't expect Brown or Orakpo to even make it to 20 - let alone be available for us to pick!

it was a scrape towards boeckman as a bitter OSU fan, not orakpo.

i didn't do a very good job of getting that across.

    Well...

He's one of the most intriguing guys in the draft! The biggest problem is...he's a tweener (at the moment). He's also got some maturity stuff from what I've read. Depending on how well he runs, I think he'll go 2nd rnd. He could go anywhere from 1-3 I think. Can he be a Darnell Dockett or even a Julius Peppers? Or will he be just another athletic tweener who doesn't really fit into a position...

And is he jumping out of the kitty pool??? LOL
