Mariota had his best season with Mike Mularkey and Terry Robiskie. Then he had his worst season with Mike Mularkey and Terry Robiskie.

Whose gets the credit and the blame? I don't know, but it's a hell of a lot easier to get rid of the coaching staff than it is the quarterback.

So I'm not gonna say that mariota has shown us hes a franchise qb yet, but pre season IS just pre season. The oline blocked like **** tonight, Rishard isnt playing, delanie isnt being used, and the playbook is bare minimum. He has to prove himself this year for sure, but I care less how tonight's performance was. As long as we look like a good team come week 1, I'm fine.

 

We need Conklin back asap.

And the line is a problem... again.

I can honestly say I never believed for a minute the OLine was "fixed".

 

That was the primary thing noticed -- atrocious.

 

This wouldn't have anything to do with bitterness that the Bucs took Jameis would it? lol

And yeah it is easier, because Most Coaches (excluding Bell, Carroll, Payton), unless you hit a John Madden, or be an idiot franchise and hire a Jon Gruden, are under salary for peanuts..

Marcus Mariota is under a 4 year contract for $24,213,974.

So, naturally, exhausting all options to help Mariota (or any Drafted Franchise QB who has shown high promise 2 out of 3 years) hit the prime comes first.. so dispersing staff is very much so the inside way to go...

AND THE LARGEST PART THAT MADE MULARKEY AND ROBISKIE TERRIBLE..... is that they refused to adapt -- when teams started to entirely gameplan for the run, the Titans hit a snag..... and it was because Robsicuits was oh so certain if you run into a box of 9 defenders..... you're gonna break one eventually..........
