GREEN BAY, Wis. The Titans had enough things to worry about on the offensive line before starting right tackle Mike Otto came down with flu-like symptoms.

The Titans deactivated Otto from the game-day roster as a result. Second-year pro Byron Stingily, who had played one NFL snap before Sunday’s game, got the start.

“Otto getting sick in the middle of the night, that was kind of the icing on the cake that we lost him,” coach Mike Munchak said after the 55-7 loss to the Packers.

At one point, the Titans replaced left guard Mitch Petrus (making his first start for the Titans) with center Fernando Velasco, and Kyle DeVan entered the game to play center.

The line was unable to run-block effectively or slow down Green Bay’s pass rush.

“We can’t go out there and give up seven sacks,” Velasco said. “You just can’t do that.”
