Simmons comes back week 9 and gets a sack

 

I was pondering (getting a boner actually) this weekend the "what if's" and Simmons was on the list.
If we're holding our own and make a play off run ... watching Pee's utilize Simmons (granted it'd be limited due to injury recovery, game shape, and just being a rookie), but man it could be a thing of beauty at the right time.

 

If we see Simmons at all they'll ease him in like they did Evans. Gonna be rusty for about 4 weeks (think of it as his training camp)

Hopefully we make the playoffs and can turn Simmons loose then.

I hope we don’t rush Simmons back. This year a wash. Keep his leg and his head straight.

I wouldn’t do it, unless you’re talking a 4-6 snap count limit.

 

Running him thru the motions is worth doing

5 snaps a game wouldn't be a bad idea those first few weeks hes activated

Davis and humphries.
