Footage of Hubbard trying to rush the QB
its not always about speed, sometimes the turtle wins the race
He is playing the wrong position if he is a turtle
Uhhhh... that's not a turtle.

I read somwhere that he was lined up as a 5tech in 2017 and asked to stop the run more. Didnt test well at the combine but I like his 2016 tape alot!
I think this guy does a pretty good job breaking down tape.
His stats, athleticism, and intagibles got me. I just have a good feeling about him. Also, he will get stronger as a pro. That seems to be the only thing he's lacking.
Getting a young, athletic and agile pass rusher would be a great change of pace from our big bull rushers.
I like his consistency too. No off the field issues to be heard of and consistently pretty healthy. His stats last season showed how good he can be too.
22 tfl 16.5 sacks in 2016. He could've went to the draft then but decided to come back to school (maturity? Loyalty?). He had an ankle injury that derailed him a bit last year so this could potentially be a buy low situation.
His combine numbers were not bad either. 4.64 40. 36 in vert. 119 in. Broad, 24 reps.
I'm not sure our previous hate for him was ever really warranted. He's not as big and athletic as some of the other prospects, but it seems to me he's got "it" and on an NFL weight plan with rak and Morgan mentoring, who knows?
Hubbard had the fastest 3 cone drill for dline at the combine. Also says Hubbard was one of the most impressive in workouts
Sam Hubbard Posts Fastest Time Among All Defensive Line In 3-Cone Drill At NFL Scouting Combine
And his 40 time was slower than Lewan's by over a tenth of a second
