Great news for someone like me that doesn’t live in TN! Don’t have to have satellite service and wont have to use those streaming sites anymore. Says everyone will be able to buy it as a standalone package.
Thank God it will be a standalone service, because I damn sure didn't want to have to subscribe to YouTube TV in order to get the Sunday Ticket. Also, you didn't need satellite in order to get the Sunday Ticket with Direct TV. They had a standalone streaming service which was actually a great service TBH. I got a free subscription for YouTube TV last Saturday in order to watch the 3 games since I got rid of the NFL Network and there was a ton of buffering during the games. So let's hope YouTube TV can figure it out before next season.
The only way you could get the standalone service with DirecTv was if you were a college student or lived in a building where DirecTV wasn’t available. YouTube TV works perfect with no buffering. As good as live TV. I’ve had it for years. That sounds like a problem with your internet.
My internet connection is great. I've never had any type of buffering issues at all with anything, even when everyone else complains about the buffering during the games on Amazon Prime. I'm going to be curious as to how much the price will be.
You can save some money by purchasing a vpn and selecting a private network in an area that broadcasts the game. I use Atlanta and I’m able to watch every week with YouTube tv. I live in Alabama and they never air Titans games locally
Apple wanted to do a pay for a team option also but NFL said no. That's the main reason they backed out of the deal.
