    I've had to debunk this for a ton of friends on social media. It never fails to amaze me what people will accept as truth if it's presented as fact in a clickbait article. :D

    the rules apply to people putting on public viewing shows, and not giving the NFL their due. No way this applies to small at-home viewing parties for friends.

    I have heard of them going after a church for having a decent sized SB party.

    Basically, they don't want businesses profiting off of the Super Bowl game/name without giving their greedy @$$es a cut.

    Personally I think the NFL needs to get over themselves. Their product isn't good enough to be dictating these kinds of silly things.. They make plenty of money.
