NFL Network's breakout players of 2009

    I just turned on NFL network. They were picking 5 breakout players for the 2009 season. I remembered two from each. The first guy picked Joe Flacco and Kyle Orton. I lol'd... horrible picks. The second guy picked Jason Jones and Nate Washington... genius. :yes:

    He claimed that our defense will take a step forward this year. Hell yea. I like the way this guy thinks. I always have respect for someone giving the Titans well deserved love.

    It's funny how we knock the national media as a whole because generally we aren't given much credit. And, in all honesty, what have we done to deserve it? Never won a Super Bowl, haven't won a playoff game in many years, etc.

    Now, one of these talking heads has something positive to say, and all of a sudden he's a genius.

    That's not the point...

    The point is that we should not be looked down upon solely because of the loss of Fat Albert. There are 10 other players on our defense too... no one seems to know it though.

    Later in the discussion the guy was asked which player in his top 5 would have the biggest breakout and he said Jason Jones, which I totally agree with. He basically said that Jason Jones has very long and strong an difficult to block, if I remember correctly.

    Aside from the haters being mad because they were wrong, I think there would be rejoicing throughout Titanland if that were to happen. Because that would mean that he played good.
