If the Cavs , Bulls and Raptors all finish with the same record at the end of the season the Cavs get the 2nd seed.

Bulls have 2nd seed we own the tiebreaker over Cavs and Raptors (and detroit and miami)

 

I was watching the Cavs/Hawks game the other day and our announcer said if we all finish with the same record the Cavs win the tiebreaker.

 

I am pretty sure that is wrong, but we will see.

Actually if seems if there is a tie Toronto get the #2 seed (they are division winner) and then it seems Chicago will go #3 (will revert back to two way tie system)

 

From the Cavs.com forum

"Chicago would have to go 0-1
We would have to go 2-0 or 1-1
Toronto would have to go 2-0

If that happens we automatically get the 2 seed. If we go 2-0, we get it and if we go 1-1 we still get it because the 3 teams all end up with 49 wins, a 3 way tie, but between the 3 teams head to head records we have the most wins.

Chicago plays @ NJ
Cavs play @ Phi and home to Mil
Toronto plays @ Det then home to PHI"

 

Toronto is a division winner, they will get #2 seed.

 

Wouldnt it go to head to head wins first tho?
