It didn't really surprise me at all to see the Heat lose to the Celtics. Boston is a Championship team. It's October so 1 loss means nothing. Also realize the Heat players have had very little time to figure each other out. Just the fact the 3 big names were able to get it going in the Olympics should me nothing being that they also had another 7 All-Stars helping. Miami is 1-1, and that's a fine start considering few playoff teams play playoff basketball in the Fall. Give the heat 3 months and they'll be in a rhythm they can ride into the post season.

I thought it was really cool the first couple times I saw it. Great idea by the Nike people. It has gotten old though.

D-Wade's commercial is awesome! I don't know what I'm watching, is it a movie, or a Nike add?

Well my first quarter assessment of the Wizards... not good lol. I mean I knew we'd be bad so it's cool. This year is all about developing Wall and McGee anyway. Still don't know about Blatche yet. One game he'll look like an all star who can take over, the next he's being torn up on defense and can't hit a shot. Oh well, this team may still be one top 5 draft pick away from being good.

    "Maybe I should just disappear"

You do that every postseason, Lebron.

On your way to another #1 pick, lol. but still, at least they have some talent to build on that's all star quality. Trade Arenas now. Dude is crazy over a woman. That aint no place to be. And go from there.

Whatever you think of LeBron's ego, he's the best player in the NBA. If you can't see that, you're either letting your bias get the best of you or you just don't watch much basketball. The reaction after the Heat's first game should tell you all that you need to know about how good the Heat will end up. The Heat play the worst first half that anyone could have possibly predicted on the road against the defending Eastern Conference Champions and the Heat are within one shot of winning in the last minute of the game. I know some of you would love to see them fail, but I wouldn't get my hopes up (especially since it looks like they might already be the best team in the NBA after tonight beatdown of Orlando).

I would take Kobe over Lebron any day of the week, and Durant will be in that conversation soon. Both are great players for sure, but give me the guy who does it in the postseason before the guy who completely disappeared in the Boston series last year.

But yes, people way over reacted to the Heat's loss to the Celtics. At the same time, the over reaction came because of the hype, and also because people aren't recognizing that Boston is still every bit as much the team to beat in the East as Miami is.
