Invoking the philosophy that "the pioneers take all the arrows", I have avoided buying anything less than two years/versions old. Typing from my Galaxy S5 now. This one, I am convinced, is the last great Samsung, and I am not alone in that...but at four years old now, it's gonna start having issues soon.

I have tablet that is Android Marshmallow with no bloatware; combined with Nova Launcher, I feel like it's time to step away from Samsung. I am not confident in Pixel yet, though it seems ideal for me. I am intrigued by the LG ThinQ.
My phone is my office; I can run my biz entirely from mobile devices. However, I can't really justify the flagship models any more, as magnemometers and gyroscopes aren't really very useful to me. I tried to employ them as much as possible but it's really just gimmicky. For a long time I said that I really don't care about cameras, but I bought a Samsung J series as a backup and found out that holy crap I actually do care about having a good camera; that J series camera was...a piece....
For those who are all about the cameras, Verizon is now selling the new Red phone. That mofugga is EXPENSIVE....unfortunately it's camera doesn't stand up to the pedigree, so it's an overpriced cameraphone with not a great camera.
Today the Samsung folding unit was announced, and that looks like it might be my new office digs.
