you don't know our front office. and all the talk from reinfeldt and fisher about this draft being deep at running back and wide receiver leads me to believe they can get someone just as talented in the second round. i don't personally believe that, but it seems they do.
I am pretty sure you will see Johnathan Stewart taken in the first round. He is certainly better than Felix Jones. If we passed on him at 24, I would be pretty pissed. This kid is a franchice back.
I tend to agree with you. I would be mad if we took a running back in the first, if that running back was anyone other than Mendenhall. If it's Chris Johnson or Felix Jones, then yeah that would be a waste of a pick.
If we take defense in the first I will be disappointed, although I agree that the comments about the draft being deep with playmakers means that we will proabably draft offense in the middle rounds.
