Mularkey wants Mariota to improve timing, make bigger plays

This play design is hideous. I hope this is the last year we are stuck with these amateurs.

Hello, new member here,but have been following since Marcus was drafted. I agree that the play calling is, to put it lightly, dull and predictable. Malarkey needs to open up. The offense, and allow Mariota to do what he does best. We need more rollouts, more attention to the Wr down field, and use Walker more as a decoy to open up the receivers more. We can't run if teams aren't scared of us throwing the ball. We have the best 1-2 punch in the backfield, but going against 7-8 in the box is impossible.

The Titans are so close to being an upper level team, they need something to shake up the offense, and give our D some rest.

They have no fear of anyone going deep or running a post, due to safety damn near playing MLB..

Teams no longer have to play zone against us. Strictly man to man coverage. That's just lack of creativity to confuse a defense.

I definitely saw that in TL’s actions/frustration when we trick played ourselves out f a TD at the 1 yd line.

 

Why don't we run the Lewan TD pass he scored against the Colts last year.. Had success on it and we've yet to see it again.

 

Thats the kind of gimmicky play that only works once in a blue moon.

So expect to see us start to overuse it this week, would be such a Mike Mularkey thing to do..
