He might do a Jeff Fisher and put out a statement thru the Tennessean

 

Jeff Fisher had been with the organization for 17 years, much of that in Nashville.

Mularkey could be in a lot of places (not that it matters) but he still has a house in Jacksonville.

 

And a contract.

There is a thread bitching about him not making a public statement thanking the organization, the city, and the fans.
I don't expect a statement. Especially not this quick. And hell, most of the fans complained and talked about what a bad coach he was anyway. Lol

 

Who cares if he leaves a statement, what is the point??

I keep seeing the he changed the "culture" but did he really?? I feel like MM8 had more with changing the culture and guys like Delanie and Lewan.

Mike's biggest success as a head coach came from a team he inherited really.

 

Not much, other than it's just an accepted social courtesy. It doesn't change anything one way or the other, although it does show a glimpse into a person's character and mindset.

I don't think it's going to be a deciding factor for Mularkey's future employment, fwiw.

 

50% of the 2015 team was cut the first year, he inherited a giant mess then with Jon Robinson (the real savior) he turned us into something you could stand to watch 16x a year..

 

TBH I just really want a coach that knows when to throw the challenge flag
